How do we Retrofit?
The external beading is removed and the existing glass removed from your windows with the framing remaining unaltered. Then the double glazed units are inserted and beaded off with new beading. These beads will be colour matched to your existing joinery. Opening windows are replaced with new joinery as the existing opening sashes are unable to cope with the weight of the new glass.
In some cases additional modifications are required; these are discussed at the time of the quote. The outcome is still the same - the windows will have new double glazing units fitted and you will barely notice any visible difference.
With the expertise of the company staff we have confidence that we can provide a solution for almost all aluminium and timber frames. Nothing has stumped us yet. Call today or register with the contact page and we will come and see you and discuss the options specific to your needs.
Double Glazing Retrofit has developed a unique window unit to accommodate your timber joinery without having to alter the joinery. Ask us what it is.
